I'm Shayna Carter, an engineer and digital fabrication artist exploring the intersection of technology, design, and physical making

I earned my B.S. in Engineering Science from The College of New Jersey, an ABET-accredited institution, with a specialization in Engineering Management. My interdisciplinary engineering background has made me proficient across both mechanical and electrical engineering disciplines, with hands-on experience in CAD, CNC machining, 3D printing, laser cutting, electronics, automation, and rapid prototyping.

My work focuses on taking ideas from concept through design, fabrication, assembly, testing, and iteration. I'm particularly interested in R&D and emerging fabrication technologies that combine mechanical design, electronics, automation, and advanced manufacturing to create functional physical systems.
