CNC Reliefs

During a trip to Greece, I photographed a classical statue and later explored how the image could be translated into physical form.

I converted the photograph into a depth map, generated a 3D STL model, and prepared CNC toolpaths to carve the image as a relief. This project combines digital fabrication, CAD modeling, and CNC machining to transform a two-dimensional photograph into a tactile three-dimensional surface.
